Hunts Point, WA
Explore our stunning kitchen transformation in Hunts Point, WA using Neolith Calacatta Silk. This project features expansive countertops and a striking island, all with mitered edges for a seamless finish.

Neolith Calacatta Silk large-format slabs required careful planning for this Hunts Point kitchen project due to their size, handling requirements, and precision fabrication. Whith five slabs needed for the main kitchen and three additional for the island, managing the sheer size was critical. The space also demanded precision in aligning the natural veining across the full height backsplash and countertops, a task that required meticulous attention and expertise.
Another challenge was the integration of the 27.5" TopZero undermount sink within the seamless design. The client wanted a smooth, uninterrupted flow between surfaces, which meant precise cutting and installation techniques were essential. The kitchen's layout, featuring a prominent island, necessitated precise measurement and cutting to ensure the island acted as a focal point without disrupting the overall design harmony.
Furthermore, the mitered edges required advanced handling and fabrication skills to ensure the edges were sharp, clean, and seamlessly aligned. This level of detail was crucial given the high expectations of our discerning Hunts Point clients who desired both functionality and elegance.

To tackle the challenges posed by the large format slabs and intricate design, we utilized our STONEEX digital laser templating. This technology allowed us to capture the exact dimensions and unique contours of the kitchen space, ensuring each slab was cut with precision.
Our in-house Kirkland facility's CNC fabrication technology played a vital role in achieving the intricate cuts required for the mitered edges and the complex integration of the sink and faucet. The CNC machine ensured that every cut was executed with unparalleled accuracy, allowing the natural veining of the Neolith Calacatta Silk to flow seamlessly across surfaces.
During installation, our team paid special attention to the alignment of the seams, particularly around the L-corner and cooktop, to maintain the visual flow and integrity of the design. This careful planning and precise execution ensured that the kitchen's aesthetic remained cohesive and elegant, fulfilling the client's vision for a modern, sophisticated space.

The final result in Hunts Point is a modern masterpiece that perfectly blends style with functionality. The Neolith Calacatta Silk countertops and island are not only visually stunning but also incredibly durable and easy to maintain — ideal for a busy kitchen.
The seamless mitered edges and the flawless integration of the sink make the space both practical and beautiful. The full-height backsplash adds a dramatic flair, enhancing the kitchen's overall aesthetic while ensuring easy cleaning and maintenance. Our clients were thrilled with the transformation, noting how the new design complemented their home's architecture and enhanced their day-to-day living experience.
