At the Seattle Design Center, AbsoluteGM's precision fabrication with integrated stone lighting transforms luxury surfaces into architectural focal points. This project highlights the synergy of modern LED illumination with sintered stone and quartz installations.

The Seattle Design Center project presented unique challenges due to the need for seamlessly integrated lighting within stone surfaces. Achieving precision alignment of LED systems required meticulous planning and execution, especially in areas like feature walls and vanities. Additionally, the project demanded careful consideration of wiring and electrical safety standards, needing a collaboration between fabricators and electricians to ensure long-term performance without compromising the aesthetics.
Handling the heavy slabs of sintered stone and quartz during installation also posed logistical challenges, particularly within the high-traffic commercial environment of the design center. Ensuring the safe transport and placement of these materials required advanced lifting equipment and expert coordination among our team members.
Moreover, aligning the integrated lighting with the existing architectural elements of the design center required precise measurements and adjustments. This included ensuring that the lighting not only enhanced the stone's natural beauty but also aligned with the design vision outlined by the architects.

To tackle the challenges, our team utilized the STONEEX digital laser templating technology to capture the exact dimensions and layout of the installation areas. This precision mapping was crucial for ensuring the flawless integration of LED systems within the stone, allowing us to pre-plan the placement of lighting channels and wiring.
Our in-house CNC fabrication at the Kirkland facility enabled us to cut the stone with unparalleled accuracy. This precision cutting ensured that all pieces fit perfectly together, with mitered edges creating a seamless waterfall effect that concealed the integrated lighting channels. The CNC technology also allowed us to incorporate precise cutouts for the TopZero sinks, ensuring a clean, uninterrupted aesthetic.
Throughout the process, our team worked closely with electricians to ensure that all wiring met safety standards and was discreetly hidden within the stone. By coordinating efforts across disciplines, we were able to deliver a lighting solution that was both functional and visually stunning, enhancing the overall impact of the design center's showcase areas.

The completed project at the Seattle Design Center stands as a testament to the transformative power of integrated stone lighting. The final installation brought the architects' vision to life, with each stone surface becoming a dynamic focal point enhanced by the subtle glow of built-in LEDs.
Clients and visitors have praised the seamless integration and the way the lighting highlights the natural textures and edges of the stone. The TopZero sinks, paired with the mitered waterfall edges, contribute to an overall look of modern elegance and sophistication, setting a new standard for luxury surface design.
Our dedication to precision and quality ensured that the lighting systems not only met aesthetic goals but also performed reliably, providing long-lasting beauty and functionality in this high-profile commercial setting.
