Quartz is an engineered material — natural quartz crystals bound with resin. It’s consistent, non-porous, and low maintenance. Quartzite is a natural stone formed from sandstone under heat and pressure. It has unique veining like marble but is harder and more heat-resistant. Quartzite requires periodic sealing; quartz does not.

Typically 7–14 days from template to installation for most projects. The timeline breaks down as: 1–2 days for digital templating, 5–10 days for fabrication, 1 day for installation. Complex projects with mitered edges, integrated sinks, or large slab counts may take longer. We’ll give you a specific timeline at your consultation.

Yes — sintered stone is one of the only countertop materials that is genuinely UV-stable and frost-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor kitchens, BBQ islands, and exterior surfaces in the Pacific Northwest climate. Yes — we offer a full range of edge profiles including eased, beveled, bullnose, ogee, mitered, and waterfall edges. Edge profiles are selected during consultation and programmed into CNC fabrication. Some profiles carry a small additional charge depending on material and complexity.
