Kirkland, WA
In Kirkland, WA, a modern kitchen revamp featuring Lapitec countertops and integrated porcelain elements brings sleek functionality. The project includes a TopZero sink and precision-crafted cabinetry.

One of the primary challenges in this Kirkland kitchen renovation was integrating multiple high-end materials seamlessly. The client desired a sophisticated blend of Lapitec sintered stone and porcelain, not just for the countertops but also for the cabinetry and vent hood. This required precise measurement and planning to ensure all elements aligned perfectly, maintaining a consistent aesthetic across different surfaces.
The porcelain veneered vent hood and cabinetry demanded careful handling and cutting, as porcelain is both durable and delicate to work with. Ensuring the integrity of the material while achieving the desired design was critical.
Additionally, the integration of an oversized porcelain sink posed its own set of challenges. The sink needed to be perfectly integrated into the island, requiring exact cuts and seamless transitions between the different materials.

To address the complex integration of materials, our team utilized the STONEEX digital laser templating system. This technology allowed us to capture precise measurements of the existing kitchen space, ensuring that every piece of Lapitec and porcelain fit perfectly with no gaps or misalignments.
Our in-house Kirkland facility was pivotal in the CNC fabrication process. This state-of-the-art equipment allowed for precise cuts and edge profiles, particularly the mitered waterfall edges that were a signature feature of this project. By using CNC technology, we ensured that each material joined seamlessly, creating a unified look across the kitchen.
The team also focused on meticulous seam planning, particularly around the L-corner and the island. The aim was to conceal seams where possible, using the cabinetry and cooktop to our advantage, thus enhancing the kitchen's sleek, modern aesthetic.

The final result was a stunning transformation of the Kirkland kitchen into a sleek, modern space that met all the client's expectations. The integration of Lapitec and porcelain was flawless, with the mitered waterfall edges and seamless transitions adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the kitchen.
The TopZero sink was perfectly integrated, providing a clean and functional work area that complemented the overall design. The under-cabinet LED lighting and pendant lights over the island added both functionality and ambiance, highlighting the beauty of the materials used.
The client was thoroughly impressed with the outcome, particularly the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into every aspect of the installation. The kitchen is now a beautiful and functional centerpiece of the home, perfectly suited to the client's modern lifestyle.
