The Challenge

Weather-Resistant Design Needs

Working in the outdoor spaces of Sammamish presented unique challenges due to the weather conditions typical of the Pacific Northwest. The material needed to withstand UV rays, rain, and temperature fluctuations without compromising its integrity or appearance. The client also required integration with several outdoor cooking appliances, demanding precise cutouts and seamless transitions for optimal functionality. Additionally, the location's uneven terrain necessitated careful planning to ensure a level installation that met both aesthetic and practical demands.

Our Approach

Precision Planning and Execution

To address the challenges, our team employed STONEEX digital laser templating, capturing every detail of the space to accommodate the unique weather-resistant properties of Neolith Iron Corten. The precise digital templates allowed us to plan for the integration of multiple appliances, including a grill and sink, ensuring that all cutouts were perfectly aligned. Using CNC fabrication at our Kirkland facility, we achieved high precision in cuts, maintaining the material's integrity during the process. Attention to detail in edge work and seam placement ensured that the installation was both visually appealing and functionally superior.
