Complex Mitered Edge Fabrication
The Bellevue kitchen required precise handling of Dekton Sirius, a sintered stone known for its durability and strength. The client desired mitered edges, which presented a challenge due to the material's hardness. Additionally, the inclusion of a 6" backsplash and a custom window sill required meticulous attention to detail. The existing kitchen layout in Bellevue necessitated careful planning to ensure seamless integration with the cabinetry and existing fixtures.
Innovative Fabrication Techniques
To address the challenges, we utilized the STONEEX digital laser templating to capture precise measurements of the kitchen space. Our in-house Kirkland facility's CNC fabrication capabilities allowed us to achieve the mitered edges with precision, ensuring a flawless finish. We reinforced the countertop with metal plates to support the weight and maintain structural integrity. The window sill fabrication was carefully executed to match the countertop, providing a cohesive look throughout the kitchen.
