The Burien waterfront residence presented a unique challenge due to the client's desire for seamless elegance across large kitchen and bathroom surfaces. As the property is located on the waterfront, the design needed to complement the natural beauty surrounding the home while ensuring durability and functionality. The expansive kitchen island and continuous bathroom vanities required precise measurements and strategic seam placement to maintain aesthetic appeal. Furthermore, the choice of natural stone, known for its beautiful yet variable patterns, added complexity to the task of achieving visual continuity.
Precision in Design and Fabrication
To address these challenges, AbsoluteGM utilized the STONEEX digital laser scan to capture precise dimensions and contours of each area. This technology ensured that every cut and seam would align perfectly with the home's unique architecture. Our team of skilled craftsmen employed CNC fabrication techniques to meticulously cut the premium granite, allowing us to match the natural stone patterns seamlessly across surfaces. We strategically placed seams in inconspicuous areas, such as aligning them with the TopZero sinks in the kitchen, to maintain the visual flow. The in-house fabrication in our Kirkland facility enabled us to maintain strict quality control throughout the process.
